Women

GBPC has a multi-faceted women’s ministry that includes women’s LIFE groups, Presbyterian Women’s circles, missions and activities, and special events.

All women who are members of GBPC are also members of Presbyterian Women (PW). Presbyterian Women, Inc. is the women’s organization in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). PW Circles are similar to small groups in their function; however, they meet once a month to join other Presbyterian women across the world in the same Bible study. This year’s study is “Celebrating Sabbath” and will begin in September.

Presbyterian Women (PW)

Rebekah Circle – Meets the first Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the church, contact Kandy Keith at 757-681-1119.

Ruth Circle – Meets the second Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the church, contact Jeanne Buyrn at 757-547-4330.

Cherith Circle – Meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in homes or at church, contact Claire Burk at 757-574-7935.

Esther Circle – Meets on Saturday mornings at the church, contact Lou Vess at 757-548-4685.
